Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Great Britain

The KAS is a political foundation, closely associated with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). As co-founder of the CDU and the first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Konrad Adenauer (1876-1967) united Christian-social, conservative and liberal traditions.

By bringing people together the KAS embraces their responsibilities in society, they develop active networks in the political and economic spheres as well as in society itself. In addition, they operate as founding body for young talented minds.

Economic Council Germany – London

The Economic Council Germany is representing the interests of the German economy in politics, in dialogues with the administration and public on a regional, national and European scale. Given a growing influence of European regulation and a continuously progressing globalization of trade markets, international topics became more and more prominent for the Economic Council.

Christian Democratic Union (CDU) – Germany

The Christian Democratic Union is considered a Christian democratic and liberal-conservative political party in the German Government. Originally, the CDU was founded at the 26 June 1945 in Berlin. Since then the party has been a constant member of the German Bundestag.
